Shae Davies will campaign the 2011 season in a 2010 built Spectrum 012b, manufactured by Borland Racing Developments, Melbourne, Australia

The car is custom designed and constructed according to FIA International Formula Ford specifications.

General Specs

 

 Engine 1600cc 100ps DOHC four-cylinder Ford Fiesta engine, sealed.
Developing 81kW the engine is tuned to develop 125 bhp at 7,000rpm. All components and measurements are specified and the Formula benefits from the worldwide parts support provided by the Ford Motor Company.
 Gears Limited to 4 forward gears and 1 reverse. Interchangeable ratios to suit various circuits.
 Brakes & Suspension  Four-wheel disc brakes. Front rear bias is adjustable in cockpit. Full Racing car suspension with pushrod activated duel damper system complete with anti-roll bars.
 Fuel Tank  41-litre tank
 Weight  495kg with driver
 0-100kph  3.5 Seconds
 Top Speed  260kph (approx)
